Training:
Pacific Coachways maintains full compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding driver hiring, training, and drug and alcohol testing. Our drivers participate in pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion screening programs.
Every school bus driver is trained by a California Department of Education certified instructor using an approved curriculum and testing program administered by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Driver training includes classroom instruction and hands-on behind-the-wheel training. Drivers complete ongoing annual training and must renew certifications through periodic testing requirements.
Certification:
Pacific Coachways is fully licensed and authorized to provide transportation services throughout California and across the 48 contiguous United States. We hold operating authority from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT 469591) and a California Public Utilities Commission Class "A" Charter Party Carrier Permit (TCP 6267A).
We maintain required permits for California airports and national parks and are proudly insured by Lancer Insurance Company. Through ongoing safety programs, training resources, and loss prevention support, we continue to provide safe, reliable transportation.
